AT SYD FOR SOLEN, there are two stages: Under Kronen and Højen.
The concerts never overlap, so you will be able to hear all artists.

WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS FOR SYD FOR SOLEN?
Ticket sales are well under way. Buy your tickets HERE.
There are few tickets left for Thursday and Saturday. You are also able to buy tickets at the entrance to the festival site if tickets are still available on the specific day.DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKET IN ADVANCE?
No! We love to save paper, so we recommend that you bring your ticket on your mobile device. Of course, we also accept printed tickets.
Since we will be a lot of guests attending the festival, please have your ticket ready to be scanned on your phone or on paper when you enter. If you are a group and have your tickets printed, make sure to distribute the tickets so that each person can scan their ticket at the entrance.CAN I BUY A FULL FESTIVAL TICKET FOR SYD FOR SOLEN 2023?
No, but you are welcome to purchase as many tickets as you want for the days you wish to attend. SYD FOR SOLEN is a one-day festival – three days in a row. Each day has its own unique vibe, style, and tone. So you pay for one day at a time – for as many days as you want. -
We have made an effort to make the concert venue accessible for people with disabilities, and we have a platform for wheelchair users. The wheelchair platform is located on the right side near the Under Kronen stage. Here, you will also find accessible toilets.
Purchase your wheelchair ticket or ticket for other disabilities at Billetlugen at +45 70263267. When purchasing a wheelchair ticket or a ticket for other disabilities, you can bring a companion for free. This requires an official companion card. Please inform us that you are bringing a companion when purchasing the ticket, as companion tickets cannot be issued on the days of the festival.
If you have questions regarding access to the wheelchair platform or other related issues regarding accessibility, you can contact us at info@sydforsolen.dk, and we will respond as fast as possible.
For safety reasons, it is not possible to bring rollators onto the festival site without a wheelchair ticket. If you are unable to attend the concert without a rollator, please contact us before the day of the festival.
The shows may be loud and spectacular, and at some concerts, you can expect a large light show with fast-flashing strobe lights, which may be bothersome for some.
If you experience any issues during the day, please contact Security, and we will try our best to assist you so that your experience at the festival is as good as possible. We would also be very grateful for any feedback and potential points of criticism regarding the accessibility of the venue after the concert. In case we have overlooked anything or need to make changes to ensure that everyone has a good experience, this will make us able to improve in the future. -
Children of all ages are welcome at SYD FOR SOLEN as long as they have a valid ticket, regardless of age – much like all indoor concerts. There are no separate tickets for babies or children.
Though we understand that a young child is most comfortable in a stroller or a baby carriage, for safety reasons, it is not possible to bring these onto the festival site. These are the safety regulations in place to ensure the well-being of everyone, including children, in the event of an unexpected situation at a festival of this scale in Søndermarken. We hope that parents can find an alternative solution that suits you and your family, which also includes the younger music lovers.
Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

We hope that you will stay at the festival site during the day, but if you need to leave for something important outside the site, we will find a solution. Just approach the security personnel at the entrance.

No – when the music ends, it’s time to leave the site and enjoy the summer night in Frederiksberg or go home to bed. That’s up to you.

We do everything we can to ensure that you and your friends have a good and safe experience while you’re at SYD FOR SOLEN or on your way to and from the festival. We have been preparing for over a year to provide you with a safe and well-organised festival experience. Security personnel are visible and present throughout the festival. Please follow their instructions. They are there for your safety and to assist all guests.
For safety reasons, certain unnecessary items are not allowed to be brought onto the festival site, and we ask for your cooperation in making your entry, exit, and stay at the festival as smooth and pleasant as possible.In the unlikely event that it becomes necessary to evacuate the site, emergency exits are clearly marked, and our security team will safely guide everyone out of the area.
We will be a lot of people gathered at the festival site, and we should all do our best to help one another and create a great experience for everyone. There will be visible security personnel and first aid staff present at the site at all times, whom you can always approach if you feel unsafe or need assistance.
Take care of yourselves and each other.

It may be a good idea to pack a small bag with an extra sweater (a thin raincoat may also, but probably not, come in handy) so you don’t get cold when darkness falls. There are no cloakrooms at the festival site.
For safety reasons, you are not allowed to bring camping chairs, folding chairs, stools, or similar items to the festival site. You are also not allowed to bring baby strollers or carriages, food + drinks, water bottles, fireworks, professional cameras, photo or video equipment, sound recorders, selfie sticks, iPads, laser pointers, banners, umbrellas, suitcases, and large bags, etc. to the festival site.
To limit the waiting time for yourself and other guests at the entrance, please refrain from bringing anything other than the absolute minimum and most necessary items to the site. Security checks and body searches will be carried out at the entrance, and the security personnel are equipped, and have the right, to decide whether an item can be brought onto the site. If you are in possession of items that cannot be brought onto the site, you will have to bring them home on your own – we are not able to store them for you. So, if you are unsure whether an item can be brought, simply don’t bring it.

• Food and drinks in any packaging
• Water bottles
• Thermos flasks and mugs
• Animals
• Weapons or items that can be used as weapons
• Professional photo equipment, SLR camera, tape recorder, camcorder, audio, and video recorder
• Selfie stick
• iPads / tablets
• Grills or similar devices using open fire
• Fireworks, including sparklers and smoke bombs
• Alcohol and all forms of substances
• Laser pointer
• Banners
• Large bags/backpacks and suitcases. A large bag refers to any form of baggage and storage larger than A4 size.
• Baby strollers and carriages
• Rollator – for safety reasons, it is not possible to bring rollators onto the festival site. If you are unable to attend the concert without it, please contact info@sydforsolen.dk before the festival, and we will find a solution.
• Drone cameras.
You will be denied entry if Security considers you to be clearly intoxicated or visibly influenced by substances in other ways. Our security personnel have the right to search you at the entrance.One of the many great things about SYD FOR SOLEN is that you only have to be away from home for about ten hours. Good friends, mobile phone, credit card and your good mood are pretty much all you really need. NB Please make sure that your mobile phone is on full power as we unfortunately do not offer charging facilities at the venue.

In general, the less you bring, the faster you can enter. Please note that it is NOT possible to use a cloakroom or store your belongings during SYD FOR SOLEN, so it’s up to you to decide what to do with any items that you cannot bring onto the site.
In the unfortunate event that you forget or lose personal belongings during the festival, you can inquire at the entrance on the same evening. If you find valuable items, you can hand them over to the on-site security personnel. After the festival, all lost items are handed over to the Police Lost Property Office.

SYD FOR SOLEN is located in the middle of Frederiksberg and can be easily reached by use of public transportation, including buses, S-trains and the Metro. Søndermarken is also ‘surrounded’ by bicycle lanes.
Yet, it is close to impossible to park closer than several kilometres from the festival. We recommend using public transportation, walking or cycling directly to the festival. This should be possible for most guests.
Find your public transportation route to SYD FOR SOLEN on rejseplanen.dk or through the app. Google Maps can show you the easiests way to find Søndermarken and meet up with all your friends.

We have made sure to provide excellent and diverse options for food and drinks at the venue.
Based on your favourites and preferred dishes from last year, we have adjusted the menu to cater to every taste – it least in our humble opinion. From our Food Stalls at the venue, this year you can enjoy:

Throughout the festival site, you will find a wide range of different bars. We are quite proud of them. In our SYD FOR SOLEN bars, we offer Grøn Tuborg, 1664 Blanc, various soft drinks and water. Our good friends from Pure Shots are present with both licorice and apple variety shots, and you can also have a longdrink or a glass of wine at our bars.If you’re up for a bigger adventure, visit our exceptionally well-stocked craft beer bar where you must try this year’s SYD FOR SOLEN IPA from To Øl or one of the many other great brews. SYD FOR SOLEN’s Wine Bar offers red, white, rosé, natural wines and refreshing sparkling wines – fitted to your taste. And as if that wasn’t enough, this year we also have our own Tequila Bar.
You won’t go thirsty!
IS THERE A REFUND SYSTEM FOR CUPS AND GLASSES?
Yes! In connection with the sale of beverages, we collaborate with the Red Cross who collect refund at the venue. The amount collected from the refund goes directly to the Red Cross. If you wish to support, simply deposit your empty cups in one of the designated donation containers or give them to one of the many volunteer collectors from the Red Cross at the site.
CAN I BRING FOOD AND DRINKS TO THE FESTIVAL SITE?You are not allowed to bring food and drinks to the festival. We offer a freshly made and carefully selected range of food and drinks at the festival site, which you can already start looking forward to.
CAN I BRING MY OWN WATER BOTTLE?
No, you are not allowed to bring your own containers or bottles to the festival. You can refill with tap water at the festival site, where you will also find reusable cups.

All food stalls and bars at the site only accept credit cards (such as MasterCard, Dankort). Cash or MobilePay are NOT accepted, so remember to bring your credit card.

We, the people behind SYD FOR SOLEN, are part of smash!bang!pow! We are experienced concert organisers and have been producing concerts since 2008. We are very grateful that SYD FOR SOLEN is allowed to use Søndermarken, and we will of course take very good care of this unique place that is part of your daily lives.
We do our very best to avoid any disturbances, and we have obtained all necessary permits from Frederiksberg Municipality. They have also approved our sound levels, taking the festival’s location into consideration.SYD FOR SOLEN is pleased to have a close dialogue and a good collaborative partner in Copenhagen Zoo, who states the following about our festival:
“The animals at the Zoo are accustomed to living in the city and therefore also to its varied soundscape. CISTERNERNE – gives you a free guest ticket.Did you know that Frederiksberg’s most extraordinary museum is located deep underground, right next to the festival? Cisternerne surprises every year when the old water reservoir provides the setting for beautiful exhibitions and installations.
From June 5th to 18th, when you purchase an entrance ticket to Cisternerne, show your SYD FOR SOLEN ticket and you’ll get one free guest admission. Bring a guest along, and experience the installation of the Korean artist KIMSOOJA / WEAVING THE LIGHT. The South Korean artist takes over the underground chambers of Cisternerne in 2023 and invites you into an illusory space where light is refracted in all the colours of the rainbow, creating a transformation of the former water reservoir. So grab your best friend and immerse yourselves in a grand and wild sensory experience before or after the festival.
